Erick Elementary Highlights – August Edition

Hello Bearcat Families!

We’re off to an amazing start this school year, and we’re excited to share some of the moments, achievements, and smiling faces that have filled our halls this month.

School Events

• Back-to-School Night – Thank you to all the families who joined us to meet teachers,

explore classrooms, and learn about what’s ahead this year. The energy was incredible!

• Western Day – Students and staff fill the halls in cowboy hats, boots, and bandanas,

bringing a fun, rootin’-tootin’ Western spirit to the school day.

• STEM in Action – Our 3rd -6th graders are about to begin an exciting chapter with the

After School Program featuring STEM and Sports!

• No School September 1st

Student Spotlight

Featuring a few students who have gone above and beyond in academics, kindness, and

leadership.

• Addilyn (Grade 1) – Helped a new student feel welcome by showing them around the

playground.

• Braeyia (Grade 5) – is taking on the new school year with positivity, kindness, and a

willingness to try their best, inspiring those around them.

Staff Shout-Outs

Our teachers and staff go above and beyond every single day.

• Mrs. Jo (SPED) – Your patience, creativity, and unwavering dedication help every child

feel valued, capable, and celebrated for who they are is seen and felt!

• Mrs. Kylie (PE Teacher) – Mrs. Kylie wears many hats and wears them all so

flawlessly. We see the hard work you put in for our kids and appreciate you!

• Team Clean – Mr. Isaac, our new Elementary Custodian is doing an incredible job

keeping our school sparkling!
